Gel Nails Maintenance and Removal. 

Your gel nails will have to be  maintained every 2-3 weeks, depending on the growth of your natural nails and their condition. You also need to book an appointment at first signs of lifting as moisture can get trapped under the lifting areas and be the cause of infection. Make sure you follow the aftercare advise for gel nail enhancements.

Brisa Gel is a hard gel and it has to be buffed off to remove it. Never pick your nails as layers of your natural nail will come off with the gel causing damage to the nail. 

A bottle of Solar Oil should be purchased at your first appointment that will have to be religiously applied every day morning and evening. Solar oil penetrates through your enhancements and keep your nails and surrounding skin moisturised and prolongs the live of your nail enhancements. Solar Oil can also be used with your manicure.

       Aftercare for Gel Nail Enhancements

To get the most of your beautiful gel nails follow these simple instructions: 

• Be extra careful with your nails for the next 24-48 hours. It's very important for the bonding process. Do not keep your nails in water for a long time.
•  Solar Oil  must be applied to the nails and surrounding area twice daily. It nourishes the skin and nails and prolongs the life of the gel nail enhancements.
• Do not pick or bite your nail enhancements, even if you notice lifting. Picking at it can cause damage to the nail. It is important to book an     appointment to eliminate any lifting as soon as possible, as any moisture trapped under the lifting area can be the cause of infection.
• Always protect your hands with suitable gloves when dealing with harsh chemicals and detergents.
• Do not use you fingernails as tools. Do not apply force against your nail
  enhancemets. So do not use your nails to open cans. When washing hair use your finger tips not your nails.
• If you use sunbeds regularly cover your fingertips or use clear nail polish
  to avoid overexposure and yellowing.
• Use only non acetone nail polish remover.
• Your nail enhancements have to be removed professionally to avoid damage to the nails.
